MAD MUSIC OFFERS MUSIC LESSONS
PROVIDED BY 3 QUALIFIED AND
EXPERIENCED TEACHERS.
Music lessons available include Guitar Lessons, Drum Lessons,
Piano Lessons, Saxophone Lessons, and Bass Guitar Lessons
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What kind of Music Lessons do you provide?
A:
- Guitar lessons,
- Bass Guitar lessons,
- Drum lessons,
- Percussion lessons,
- Piano lessons,
- Saxophone lessons,
- Ukulele lessons,
- Voice lessons
Q: Do you only provide individual Music Lessons or are group lessons available as well?
A: We provide both individual and group lessons. We put students together to form rock bands, trios, duets, and multiple student bands.
This provides an opportunity for singers, guitar players, bass players, saxophone players, keyboard players, and drummers to try out their
instrument in a group setting. Group lessons provide performance opportunities at Mad Music recitals, as well as community events and
public appearances.
Q: What times are Music Lessons available?
A: Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Special arrangements can be worked out with instructors for special needs regarding scheduling.
Q: For what age groups are Music Lessons provided?
A: Appropriate age to start lessons depends on student’s natural abilities, interest, coordination, and attention span. Mad Music has
served students as young as 3 years old that have progressed and prospered. Our experience has shown that the most receptive age for
Music Lessons is age 7. No on is TOO OLD FOR MUSIC LESSONS!!
Q: Are musical instruments provided for students or does the student need to provide their own instrument?
A: A musical instrument can be provided but a student needs to have their own instrument for practice at home in between lessons. For
example, a drum student wouldn’t have to own a complete drum set, because he/she could just practice on a practice pad.
Q: Does a student need a top level or high quality musical instrument to get the most out of Music Lessons?
A: No. A student should start off with a relatively inexpensive instrument to make sure he/she will remain committed and stay interested.
Then, as a student advances, you will know the requirements for a higher quality instrument if you decide one is needed.
Q: Do you sell new or used musical instruments?
A: Both, but mostly clean, used and vintage instruments.
Q: Do you buy used instuments?
A: Yes, definitely! We are always buying guitars, guitar amps and accessories, bass guitars, keyboards, and pianos, drums and percussion
instruments. We will consider buying any guitar brand, but the most sought after guitar brands are:
- Gibson
- Fender
- Martin
- Taylor
Q: If I come into your shop needing advice about instruments, accessories, or Music Lessons; is your staff experienced and professional?
A: Yes. The staff consists of lifelong teachers and professional, performing musicians with experienced knowledge of all the instruments,
equipment, and services we provide.
Q: What kind of instruments do you provide repairs and other services for?
A: We provide (usually while you wait) professional clean and restring and polish services for guitars - electric, acoustic, and basses. We
also have knowledgeable staff pertaining to drum and percussion instruments. We provide full repair service for guitars, basses, guitar
amps (specializing in tube amps), and most electronic instruments.
